IMD Warns of Heavy Rains in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Northeast India

IMD forecasts heavy to very heavy rainfall in Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Northeast India due to a deep depression.
Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya and Odisha to experience heavy rainfall.
Delhi-NCR expects partly cloudy skies with light showers and temperatures slightly above normal.
Heavy rainfall warnings issued by IMD
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings for heavy to very heavy rainfall in several regions, including southwest Rajasthan, northern Gujarat, and parts of northeast India. This is due to a deep depression over southeast Pakistan and adjoining Rajasthan. Extremely heavy showers are expected in Saurashtra and Kutch, with rainfall intensity gradually decreasing afterward.
