The southwest monsoon is withdrawing from northern and western India, but weather systems will still bring rain.
Several regions including Odisha, Bengal, and Northeast India are expected to receive heavy rains and thunderstorms.
Delhi-NCR will have mostly clear skies with slightly above-normal temperatures.
Monsoon withdrawal, scattered rain, thunderstorms expected
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced the withdrawal of the southwest monsoon from northern and western India. Despite the retreat, several weather systems are active, bringing scattered rainfall, thunderstorms, and gusty winds to eastern, southern, northeastern, and western regions in the coming week. Delhi-NCR is expected to have mostly clear skies with slightly above-normal temperatures.
