Cyclonic circulation over Andaman Sea, low-pressure expected
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced that an upper-air cyclonic circulation is currently observed over the south Andaman Sea and nearby regions. A low-pressure area is likely to develop over the southeast and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal on October 24, 2025, potentially resulting in widespread rainfall across several parts of southern India.
