India faces intense monsoon with heavy rainfall
India is bracing for a spell of intense weather as the monsoon season intensifies across various states. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued alerts for heavy to extremely heavy rainfall from September 8 to 11, covering regions including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Assam, and parts of South India.
