Delhi is preparing to conduct artificial rain experiments shortly after Diwali in an effort to combat the city’s worsening air pollution. Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa confirmed that the project, developed with IIT Kanpur, awaits final approval from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) and suitable cloud conditions.
