Floods continue to wreak havoc in northern Odisha, with over 170 villages in Balasore, Bhadrak, and Jajpur districts remaining submerged for the second consecutive day. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings of further heavy rainfall in the coming days due to a newly formed low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal.
