Cyclone Montha has left a devastating trail across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, claiming at least six lives in rain-related incidents and causing widespread damage to power infrastructure. Torrential downpours triggered by the cyclone lashed multiple districts in Telangana, leading to severe flooding and fatalities reported from Siddipet, Jangaon, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, and Warangal. Tragic incidents include couples swept away by overflowing streams, individuals killed by falling trees and collapsing walls, and a bedridden man drowning in his home due to floodwaters.
