574 Roads Shut, 369 Water Schemes Hit by Rains in Himachal

Heavy rain disrupts infrastructure in Himachal Pradesh
Heavy rainfall in Himachal Pradesh has led to significant disruptions in essential infrastructure, including roads, power supply, and water schemes. According to the State Emergency Operation Centre (SEOC), as of Thursday morning, 574 roads were blocked, including three National Highways (NH-03, NH-305, NH-503A). This is an improvement from the previous evening when 645 roads were blocked. The district of Mandi is the most affected with 154 road closures, followed by Shimla with 72 and Kangra with 42.
