The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings for heavy to very heavy rainfall across six states as weather patterns rapidly shift across the country. While winter conditions are setting in across Central, Northwest, and Eastern India, these regions are also expected to experience cold wave conditions for the next 2–3 days before temperatures slightly rise.
