Northern India is beginning to experience an early winter chill, with fresh snowfall in Kedarnath and surrounding Himalayan regions, while temperatures in the plains have dipped sharply. In contrast, southern and eastern states continue to receive rainfall from the retreating monsoon, extending this year’s wet spell.
