Mumbai has recorded triple-digit rainfall, leading to mass evacuations across Maharashtra. The city has surpassed 3,000 mm of seasonal rainfall, with Colaba recording 214 mm in 33 hours and Santacruz 83.8 mm in 24 hours. Suburbs like Malad, Borivli, and Dindoshi experienced triple-digit rainfall, causing significant flooding. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, and Palghar, warning of more heavy rain throughout the week.
